Over the next 3 weeks the proposal on Moorway Lane will be discussed at two different meetings, each meeting is slightly different so for clarity we thought we would explain the aims of each meeting

On Tuesday 29 July, 6.30pm-8pm, Blagreaves Library, the Blagreaves Ward Neighbourhood Forum will have it on the agenda towards the end of the meeting.

This meeting is hosted by the council, and will include a community conversation on a variety of subjects with our local Blagreaves Councillors.  As no formal planning request has yet been submitted there is a limit to how much alternative information may be available here, but will allow the residents of Blagreaves to show their support/objections to the Councillors.

Greener Littleover will have a stall at this event, along with Friends of Littleover Parks, Community Safety and the council Neighbourhood Team.

On Wednesday 20 August 7.30pm at St Peter's Community Hub (the church hall), on Normanton Lane, Greener Littleover are holding a meeting to allow the community to come together in readiness for when a formal planning application is submitted by the developers.    Greener Littleover will feedback on progress etc made to date and will help us develop a joined up plan, and with the community's help:

  • Survey the wildlife, hedgerows and trees in the vicinity of the proposed development.
  • Take photos of areas of impact
  • Support residents to write letters or emails in response to the formal application
  • Ensure the whole community are aware of the proposals
  • Explore potential issues such as urban drainage, transport surveys, biodiversity net gains, local school and GP capacity
  • And more.....

Councillors from both Littleover and Blagreaves have been invited to attend this meeting.
