Everyone Welcome.
We want to be prepared for the next stage if the developers submit Planning Requests.
We are therefore holding a meeting on Wednesday 20 August at 7.30 pm at St Peter’s Church Community Hub on Normanton Lane.
We will use the meeting to gather individual concerns, discuss next steps, including ensuring all residents are aware of plans, arrange for captures of nature and habitats in Millennium Wood, Heatherton Pond and the related hedgerows on Moorway Lane, and talk about how we can ensure everyone can have a voice.
We understand that homes are needed in Derby, but this is not the solution. Restore empty properties, find brown sites not green wedges, choose areas that have good access to public transport, adequate schools, doctors, facilities, not a country road.
We have invited Councillors from Littleover and Blagreaves, and other relevant groups to also attend to share their expertise,
Come and join us. We want to include your voice.
We are also looking for any local residents, organisations or businesses that may be able to provide input / advice regarding species counts, planning law/processes, marketing or any other skills that may be useful.
if you are not able to make it but are able to offer any assistance please email us at hello@greenerlittleover.org.uk
