For now a respite, but the fight continues

Yesterday, as crowds descended on Town Hall, the council decided not to give the second reading until after the developer has the opportunity to convince us with a public information meeting. We're not sure how convinced the community can be that almost a century of policy should be reversed for a development we don't need.

Thank you all so much for being there and letting your voice be heard. Let's take this small victory and use it for momentum, as we build a movement to restore stewardship and integrity at Town Hall! It's an amazing time to live in Qualicum Beach.
