On Wednesday, we will march against this Greenbelt Sprawl

Citizens in Qualicum Beach have organized an event to let all our voices be heard so democracy does not remain in quarantine! Before the next council meeting, groups all over our community will be speaking out about our Town and our environment. Now is your chance to make a sign, take to the streets and tell council that the Estate Residential Forests are part of our treasured heritage and identity! 

Word has it that this event has garnered so much attention that Island Health now considers it a "Mass Gathering"; we have been told that plans are being drafted to keep everyone safe while we exercise our rights to assemble and express ourselves.

We look forward to joining our friends and our neighbors, marching with our children and bringing forth the issues that are near to our hearts. We hope to see everyone--from a safe distance with masks--at 1:30 Wednesday at the Civic Centre, as we march to Town Hall!
