Many High School Students want to achieve the goal on pursuing a higher education, but having seen the prices they often don't go for it. When students achieve this goal they are often left with debt. This happens because students don't get that much financial aid. 

Governor Newsom (Democrat) has been reported to consider the defunding in the CSU / UC system. Combined with the federal law being placed by President Donald Trump (Republican) that reduced education funding, many students are now being faced with higher tuition and less financial support. 

We must speak up for the future of higher education. These funding cuts won't just hurt high school students planning to attend a college, this will also affect current college students who are already struggling to afford their education.
