NO DATA CENTERS: Rally + Public Comment Opportunities!

Rally - Permanent Ban Now!
Join us next Saturday (9/26) at 12pm, for a rally to demand a permanent ban on AI data centers in Prince George’s County! The county officials continue to betray the public demands for a permanent ban! Even the two-year moratorium is under attack by Council member Wanika Fisher and other officials. We demand they listen to the people and ban data centers once and for all!
Location: Wayne K Curry Administrative Building, 1301 McCormick Dr, Largo, MD, 20774
Date and Time: Saturday, September 26th, 12PM
Stop the Wanika Fisher Data Center Bill!
Council member Fisher proposed a data center bill: CB-085-2026, that would permit data center development all over the county in rural and agricultural zones, including in Bowie, Brandywine, Upper Marlboro, and more. This bill could also threaten the two-year data center moratorium!
This Monday (9/21) at 10am, the bill will be discussed at the Planning, Housing and Economic Development Committee, and the public is allowed to comment. We encourage anyone who is able to, to attend and speak against this bill. You can also make written comments here, and view the bill here.
