7/23 Planning Board Hearing

Just one week after the 2-year moratorium on data center approvals was passed, the county executive and other county officials are already trying to end it! This Thursday at 10am, the planning board is hearing LDR-155-2026, which rezones to permit data centers in rural agricultural residential zones. This would allow hyperscale data centers all around the county but especially in the southern part.

We encourage those who are available to attend and speak against this bill. You may speak virtually as well. The deadline to sign up for speaking or submitting written comments is Tuesday July 21st at NOON!
