Organizing Meeting

Join us Saturday, May 30th, for our next community organizing meeting! We will discuss the most recent updates in the fight for a ban on AI data centers in Prince George’s County, including what we’ve been working on this spring, legislative updates, and how we plan to make data centers a defining issue of the upcoming primaries. We need you to be a part of the conversation!

Candidate Positions

Earlier this year we sent out a candidate questionnaire to all candidates running for County Executive and County Council positions, asking a crucial question: would you support a ban on AI hyperscale data centers in our county? We’ve received 22 responses and are monitoring public candidate appearances to provide a comprehensive list of which candidates support a ban and which do not. Community Letter

Thank you to everyone who helped work to get signatures for the community letter against the Landover data center. It was a strong show of force that our community rejects the proposed data center. Over 60 organizations, small businesses, community associations, and local elected officials signed on, and this was delivered to the County Council earlier this week! This letter will also be delivered to Lerner Enterprises this month. Stay tuned on our social media to see how those deliveries go!
