Hello good people! With an even good(er?) taste in petitions. It's me again...I'm sorry.
Thankyou all so much for your support with this petition - it got shared nearly 200 times apparently and could've made some serious changes. However, our recipients (Hampshire County Council) have some very strict rules and restrictions if a petition is going to be accepted, which this petition site unfortunately didn't meet.
So, after a painful 8 months and seven petitions later (each one getting rejected for not meeting the 'requirements') I'm back in your inbox again, with a petition which I've received verbal conformation from the council will be accepted and potentially change roadside verges Hampshire-wide.
But we need the signatures first to show people actually want to see this. So, if you're (still) passionate about this and want to see our bland, boring monocultured road verges turn into gorgeous wildflower meadows (and effective carbon sinks-very suitable at the moment...) could you please head on over to the brand sparkling new petition (the link should be attached to this email) and add your name!
Thank-you all again for the support :)
