Petition updateSAY NO TO PSPO: Don't criminalise Worthing's rough sleepersWorthing Council ignores disgracefully approves PSPOs - our opposition must continue!

As you no doubt have heard, pending the full council meeting on the 19th April, the PSPO proposal for Worthing has been approved.
It is revolting that the council nodded this through on nothing more than anecdotes, disregarding the petition, as well as the letter from the Chief Executive of Worthing Churches Homelessness Project which highlighted how damaging implementing this order would be.
We refuse to let that be the end of it.
We will continue to fight for respect and dignity to be granted to ALL, not just those the council deem worthy.
We have been contacted by the Worthing Herald, the Argus, Juice FM, BBC radio Sussex and the Independent to voice our anger regarding the PSPO
To make sure the fight continues, please share these news stories.
Let us all shine a light on the decisions being made by members elected to supposedly speak on our behalf.
Well, they certainly don't speak for me.
They don't speak for the 5000 members of the public who signed the petition and they certainly don't speak for the people who will be targeted by this dehumanising order.
