Hi All If you are in favour of the petition (reopening the night shelters) and opposed to the PSPO (issuing £50 fines to people begging, street drinking or rough sleeping) please come to: Open Council Meeting to discuss PSPO 5th April-6.30pm-Shoreham Centre Event link: https://www.facebook.com/events/1061261420563109/ Attached to the bottom of this post are the councils findings following the consultation on PSPO (Public Space Protection Order) Within this hugely bias report, they have focused on the mere 250 responses from their site, and only showed the "agree" or "disagree" results, completely ignoring the "not sure" results which is misleading. The report mentions the petition, but tries to discredit the overwhelming response by saying the petition stated inaccuracies, without supporting their claim to show where the petition was inaccurate. If you signed the petition calling for the council to reject the PSPO proposal, and frustrated with how they have tried to discredit your response, please join us to voice your questions about this in person, at their meeting on Tuesday. It's being held at the Shoreham Centre in Shoreham at 6.30pm http://www.adur-worthing.gov.uk/media/media,138894,en.pdf www.adur-worthing.gov.uk http://www.adur-worthing.gov.uk/media/media,138894,en.pdf WWW.ADUR-WORTHING.GOV.UK
