The slide shown was used by IAG for a Financial Presentation - ‘Report & Accounts 2016.’
IAG were just being honest and displaying their true colours. Their evident lack of class and respect for others by using aggressive language is apparent. This is a business driven by profit and greed where health and safety come much further down the list of priorities.

International Airlines Group (IAG) is a large airline group within the Airline Industry (which includes British Airways, Iberia, Aer Lingus and Vueling), an industry which denies any harm is caused to passengers and crew who may be exposed to the contaminated air onboard aircraft. The denials and downplaying of fume events have been going on for decades. The only difference now is that aircraft are working harder than ever - an aircraft on the ground is not making money - and therefore, more fume events are occurring, and more people are becoming ill.
There is much evidence which confirms the denials from various industries concerning the adverse health effects their products cause. There are specific methods employed; one of them is the hiring of chosen scientists who hide or fix-to-fit the truth in an industry-friendly manner.
Such practices are described in David Michaels book “Doubt Is Their Product: How Industry’s Assault on Science Threatens Your Health”, published in 2008 by the Oxford University Press:
‘The former assistant secretary of energy for the environment, safety and health during the Clinton administration argued that corporations hire their own scientists to skew the safety records of certain products. In doing so, they manufacture and magnify scientific uncertainties and influence policy decisions to the advantage of polluters and the manufacturers of dangerous products. This has led to delayed action on specific hazards, including tobacco, global warming, asbestos, lead, plastics, and many other toxic materials. He talked about the story revealed in his book and the lessons to be learned from it.’ https://www.c-span.org/video/?205879-1/doubt-product
A prime example of how this happens:
The U.K. Government commissioned a study in 2011 to determine if the onboard air in aircraft was safe - by no other than Cranfield University. This university is funded almost entirely by - you’ve guessed it: The Aviation Industry.
Despite numerous peer-reviewed independent studies stating that the air on board aircraft is harmful and that pollution is the number one killer worldwide, published by respected scientists in this field, the UK Government regularly quote this one flawed/skewed (Cranfield University) study to state that the air in aircraft is safe.
Why would a Government do this?
It’s all about the money generated by the Aviation Industry - clearly displayed by IAG (photo above). Can you imagine what would happen if it ever became public knowledge that the air on board aircraft was harmful to human health?
Yes, there would be an uproar, and this is precisely something Government will never allow to happen. The fall-out would be massive - particularly for the economy.
So, the lies will continue for as long as they can keep them going - rather than admitting there is a serious problem and finding solutions to put a stop to it.
Airline industrial hygienist Judith Anderson MSc, said in 2014:
‘It is important to understand this “smoke and mirrors” game because it appears to be the basis for oil manufacturers to claim that they need not warn aircrew of neurotoxicity under “normal conditions of use” (Exxon-Mobil, 2013) or “recommended industrial hygiene practices” (BP, 2012). Beyond the oil manufacturers, other parts of the industry appear to accept this pseudoscience to justify not recognizing the neurological effects of exposure to oil fumes and not prioritizing means to prevent bleed air contamination.’

Why are we still trying to prove causation of long-term health effects from Contaminated Air In Aircraft when it has already been proved?

In 2011 Boeing paid a former Flight Attendant an undisclosed amount of money in settlement. If Boeing truly believed the air in their aircraft was safe they would not have settled:

It’s time for the Aviation Industry to come clean, to stop hiding the truth of the matter and find ways to put an end to the continued poisoning of innocent employees and passengers onboard aircraft.
‘Show me the F*cking Money’ ?
How about ‘Show some honesty, integrity and concern for the health and well-being of your customers and employees.’
