What we find incredible is that if toxins were released in any other industry and into a community there would be investigations and people crawling all over the building in question in hazmat suits to determine the extent of the problem and no doubt people living nearby would be evacuated. (See the news report below). BUT, this is happening day in and day out onboard aircraft (at least 5 times a day in the USA as a guide) and it seems that everyone thinks it is SAFE AND ACCEPTABLE to breathe these harmful chemicals. It is not. The chemicals produced from heated aircraft oil or hydraulic fluid are very hazardous to human health. 

How many more innocent people will be injured before regulators and governments actually put a stop to this? Or is it that the regulators are protecting their customers (the airlines) and just continue to do nothing to stop it - despite knowing about this problem for decades.

‘There was no impact on airport operations’.
Who cares about operations at an airport? What about the future impact on the health and lives of the people who have possibly been injured by very harmful chemicals on that aircraft, some of which are carcinogenic and others which cause a multitude of problems to human health.

If you feel that you are entitled to breathe ‘clean air’ onboard an aircraft rather than toxic chemicals which enter the cabin through the air conditioning system, please sign this petition for monitoring of chemicals/toxins in the aircraft cabin and for filters to be fitted to stop these hazardous chemicals/toxins from entering the air conditioning system.
