A minor technical issue? Actually it seems that this aircraft suffered a fume event caused by contaminated air in the air conditioning system. Did Qatar’s maintenance follow the recommendations from Airbus? It seems not. This aircraft spent only 4.5 hours on the ground and departed only to divert to another airport. 

Were the passengers informed that their health could be affected? Probably not.
