Pascal Crisis Services has pulled the application for proposed Crisis stabilization center in Charlotte Hall.
This is a small victory for this neighborhood for now. Though no information is available at this time about why the application was pulled. It could be anything from they have decided not to build in this location, to they are only postponing to let tempers dye down, to they will atempt to find some loophole to exploit.
We hope that Pascal Services will continue to build in Southern Maryland in a more appropriate location and we will be monitoring the situation in Charlotte Hall.
For now, we are not declaring victory, but instead will stay vigilant in our stance that we need these facilities in Southern Maryland but not in residential neighborhoods.
