We have hit the 1500 mark on the petition and had a large showing at the Commissioners meeting yesturday. Lots of good points and positivity about the need for mental health facilities just in a more appropriate area. Not in a residential neighborhood with supporting infrastructure around it. We have had numerous local media cover the story and it seems most agree. Mount Wolf Rd. Is not the right place.
We have more than 2 weeks before the Board of Appeals Meeting on the 22nd of May at 6:30pm in the Commissioners meeting room again. This meeting is important as it is one of only a few chances to actually stop this center from starting construction. Please stay vigilant and keep sharing the patition for signatures.
Also please make your voices heard to the state legislators, Delegate Matt Morgan and Senator Jack Baily who this facility will be named after. Let them no this is no the correct place for a commercial medical facility.
