The Proposal:

• The owner of 420 CR404 has applied for a Special Use Permit for an outdoor venue to host weddings and other events
• Annually 10 - 20 weddings/events with 150 guests and at least 100 cars
• 2 large tents with luxury porta-potties powered by generators
• Events will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday
• The lot area is just under 20 acres and is zoned as residential

Why YOU Should Care:

• Traffic impact to CR404 and the surrounding roads from 100+ cars per event
• Noise decibels from live bands, DJs, fireworks and generators running for the duration of each event
• Character of the neighborhood will be significantly altered by alcohol consumption, caterers, porta-potty servicing, etc.
• Water table impact, public drunkenness and high speed CR 404 with impaired drivers, guests crossing property lines
