Heartfelt Appeal to ex-Netters and All Concerned about the Future of Pierrepont

I am writing to share my heart over what is happening to Pierrepont. Following the handover by Peter Horrobin of the International Leadership of Ellel Ministries to Andy Taylor, the new Leaders,
Trustees and Executive have decided to terminate the NETS and MicroNETS schools, close
Pierrepont down and sell the property - for no good reason! I’m totally heartbroken.
NETS continues to be a totally radical life-changing discipleship and healing course, producing effective leaders in the Body of Christ.
Ellel Executive Leadership say this decision is not about money, but simply because God has told them to do it. I do not believe that this is what God has said. And neither do any of the leaders at Pierrepont, who were not consulted before the decision was made.
On the 18th March 2023, Ellel Ministries officially announced that Pierrepont would be put on the market and sold. Many people are utterly devastated by the news. I receive calls and messages to this effect every day.
Andy said God was leading the ministry into a season of greater fruitfulness and that for this to happen, Pierrepont must be “pruned”. How can the whole work possibly become more fruitful by stopping the longest and most in-depth course, and by closing the busiest and most strategic centre positioned close to London and both main international airports? It does not make any sense
whatsoever.
Peter and Fiona did everything they could as Trustees to oppose the decision. But they were only minority Trustees, and were outvoted. Read Peter and Fiona’s response to the closure announcement within the petition
Even though the Executive Leadership made their original decision in June 2022, Andy didn’t tell me until the 2nd November, and only reluctantly when pressurised to do so by Peter. I was more than devastated and felt completely heartbroken on the inside.
There is much unfulfilled prophecy over Pierrepont. For example: The unique positioning of Pierrepont as a bridge between Ellel and the precious work in Israel; the ‘teaching hospital’ vision still awaits completion; many of you will know that God told us in prophecy that this was one of His addresses, one of the places where He had put his name and would dwell, and that “just as God will clothe a tree with leaves, He will clothe this tree (meaning Pierrepont), and equip it with even every knife, fork and spoon, as a place for the healing of the nations.”
Numbers 23 v19 tells us that, “God is not a man that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfil?”
When the gates were stolen on the very first day that we owned Pierrepont (28 February 1995), one of our intercessors, who knew nothing of the event, rang me with Isaiah 60 v 11:
“Your gates will always stand open, they will never be shut day or night so that men may bring you the wealth of the nations.”
I believe God has not finished with
Pierrepont and that there is still much work
to do there for the Kingdom of God.
Can you imagine if it was sold, a new owner
pulling down the cross and the notice about
this land being dedicated to Jesus and
dumping them! This land is consecrated for
the full gospel of Jesus Christ, it cannot be
unconsecrated.
The work at Pierrepont has an extraordinary history of God’s amazing provision and miracles, with NETS students getting supernaturally healed and having transforming breakthroughs in their lives.
Kingdom truth has been declared that Jesus Heals Today, with a large team of prayer ministers praying for hundreds of people on healing days, and seeing God at work. The power and the presence of God can be almost tangible.
This work must not be stopped!
So what can we do? It’s not too late for God to intervene.
Peter Horrobin has once again stood in faith before the Lord for the vision of the “teaching hospital”, which is manifest in NETS and all that happens at Pierrepont. In so doing, God gave him fresh vision and provided an amazing amount of money via a new donor to not only pay off the
Pierrepont mortgage, but also start work on renovating the site and buildings! Despite this,however, the Executive Leadership insist that Pierrepont must be sold and would not agree to this funded proposal from Peter to keep Pierrepont open.
