A local primary school in Warrington has been used by a private Russian school on saturdays has been shut because the warrington guardian , local residents and the council closed the school for teachinh drama , arts , religion , mathematics and russian to children,because of war in ukraine.

The cities in Eastern Ukraine that are being invaded all speak only Russian , half of Kyiev speak Russian . When these families come to England can they not speak or learn Russian , or go to Russian schools in their own time in England.

The children who attend such schools are mostly from families from Latvia , Lithuania , Ukrainians and from mixed families , some with one English parent , some with one Russian parent .

If councils like Warrington close private education to any Russian schools where do these families teach their culture and language .

Will people who are English not be allowed to teach their children Russian .

Help support Ukraine but do not punish their children and other children by closing their schools .

This is imoral as well as unethical and badly thought out by ignorant people.

My wife is Latvian and my son wants to speak Russian are we going to stop him , thank goodness we do not live in Warrington ,
