I am deeply moved by the plight of wildlife, particularly polar bears, who are facing the harsh consequences of climate change. The melting ice in the Arctic is not just a threat to these magnificent creatures but also increases the risk of polar bear attacks on innocent people.

Polar bears rely heavily on sea ice for hunting seals, their primary food source. As per National Geographic, due to global warming, sea ice is melting at an alarming rate which has led to a decrease in seal populations and subsequently starving polar bears (National Geographic). This situation not only threatens their survival but also pushes them towards human settlements in search of food.

Moreover, according to World Wildlife Fund (WWF), if this trend continues unabatedly, two-thirds of the world's polar bear population could disappear by 2050 (WWF). This would be a devastating loss for our planet's biodiversity.
