The Chuluota Cemetery Association is trying to implement by-laws they have never enforced in the past. This cemetery is on a country road in the back of our small town. It is comprised of mostly children, teenagers, and young adults. The families of these to soon departed loved ones are devastated. They see their memorials as a final expression of who they were. They also, want to continue to care for them in thier after life and this is the only way these grieving families know how. The Association sent a letter to some but not all giving them a month to remove everything or they will be doing it for them, on July 1st. They will be able to have a headstone or cross, but not both. All decorations, toys, pictures, floral arrangements, stones, borders, potted plants, shrubs, candles, solar lights, and flags will be removed. 

We need to stand up for those who have no voice, stand next to those who still do, and come together as a community to put an end to this. Some of these parents are fighting court battles for their wrongly killed children and this should not have to be another fight for them.
