China has signed a deal with the president of Ecuador to explore for oil in one of the most pristine and diverse places left on earth.

• The oil reserve could provide 9 days of oil for the planet.
• There are ancient tribes in very small numbers whose lives will be altered.
• Once roads are built, history shows, a cancerous destruction will begin.
• UNESCO World Heritage site of bio-diversity.
• Thousands of unknown species exist in this small area.
• Considered the most diverse place on earth.
