Schlep is a popular youtube game creator, known for exposing ‘bad actors’ on Roblox, a popular video game. 

In recent months/weeks, Schlep has gotten SIX child predators arrested for pedophilia/predatory behavior and online grooming.

Roblox has banned all of Schlep’s accounts AND sent him, a 22-year old, a cease and desist letter, accusing him of child endangerment and moving in-game chat conversations to other platforms. This is because a lot of times, predators will move to Discord with their victims in order to talk to them, because Roblox has a strict censoring system, where you cannot say numbers or ask someone what their name is, however in recent years they have gotten sloppy on all moderation, so predators have not been worrying about getting caught.

Roblox, for the past few years, has been very passive on their own platform. Any reports or complaints made are skimmed by, and ignored. This is perfect target platforms for predators, a 10-year old girl was ABDUCTED in California because Roblox was not wary enough of child predators. 

CHRIS HANSEN, host of ‘to catch a predator’ has officially came out of retirement to help Schlep fight against Roblox.

The state of Louisiana filed a lawsuit and said ‘So they’ve chosen profits over child safety. It’s basically open season for sex predators.’

Roblox does not moderate many games, there are avatar accessories that say ‘loli’ and ‘child porn’, however they are shrugged off. There are PUBLIC BATHROOM games and HOTEL ROOM ROLEPLAY games, precise spots for online sexual conversations and activities. When the Schlep drama came out, they made those games 17+.
This does not solve the problem. What would be better is to BAN those games, because 17 is 17 and 17 is still a minor. These types of things are not okay whatsoever, do you want your child to be a victim of pedophilia?

My name is Fang, I have been groomed by older people multiple times and a victim of sexual assault from someone my own age twice. I have played Roblox since I was 7, enjoyed playing games, making games, making friends, etc.

However, until Roblox gets a new CEO, I will not be even touching that app, and so should you.
