• Community Sentiment: A recent survey revealed that the majority of residents oppose using public funds for these stadium renovations, despite support from local businesses and the hospitality industry​. This sentiment reflects a broader concern over how public money is being allocated.
• Business Support vs. Public Opposition: The Charlotte Regional Business Alliance is expected to show strong support for the funding at the hearing, advocating for the economic benefits the stadium purportedly brings to the region. They argue that the stadium is crucial for maintaining Charlotte's competitive edge in attracting businesses and talent.
