The new short-term rental ordinance proposed by the Hart County BOC is an infringement on the rights of the property owner and will hurt businesses in Hart County that are dependent on visitors to our county. It seems to create a "County Wide HOA" and the regulations and taxes are unjust and unfair. It needs to be completely thrown out or rewritten to deregulate and remove the taxation.
