As someone who values creative freedom, I am concerned about recent moves by Collective Shout in conjunction with Visa and MasterCard. They are censoring legal adult games and manga, justifying it on the grounds that they incite violence against women. That is why, very personally, I urge to stop the unjust censorship.

It is important to emphasise that we are not ignoring the importance of protecting women from violence. However, different studies indicate that the predisposition towards violence depends largely on a person's environment and mental stability, not on the games and manga to which they are exposed.

Furthermore, it is vital to recognise that there are women who fantasise about such scenarios, according to various studies. Of course, each individual has their own limits and it is essential to respect them.

Finally, as the Stop Killing Games campaign has shown, we are more than just numbers without a will and we have the capacity to make our own decisions.

It is imperative that we take a stand and stop this unjust censorship, reclaiming the creative freedom and diversity of tastes and choices that every individual is entitled to have. Sign and help us make a change.
