CBS’ Big Brother is a popular American reality tv show. The production team has created many racist narratives throughout its running. This has involved painting black players as villains, while rationalizing racist attitudes and attempting to hide racial biases. 

This season has been filled with racism. Most recently with a  player (Kyle) attempting to create an all white alliance because the BIPOC players are too “Loud” and “That Background” brings them together. The CBS production team has taken efforts to hide this and portray it in a different light. 

This season also abruptly began with the bullying and harassment of Taylor, who is one of very few black women if the house.  This harassment has continued throughout the season with CBS trying to downplay it and doing nothing to prevent it. 

CBS has used BIPOC players when it was useful to them and have ignored their issues in times of need. 

The do no wrong white male narrative CBS creates has gotten old. It is time they show the truth. No longer hide the micro aggressions or belittle them. This is not ok and it should no be normal.
