I just have to say how amazing it is to have all of you supporting this cause—it’s incredible, thank you. 

Brief update: Today the San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD) wrapped up their investigation report. From there, it will go the the SDUSD General Counsel whom will then hand off to the final decision makers at the district. 

Regardless of the outcome I will work on drafting some proposed internal policy changes to prevent this from happening or continue happening at other public schools. Yes, this is happening at other San Diego Unified public schools with different churches that also discriminate against the LGBTQIA+ community that lease the districts campus buildings and spaces.
