About 20% of children nationwide experience bullying. Around 46% of students who are bullied in school tell a teacher or administrator. Kids who are affected by bullying can experience anything from anxiety, depression, and suffer academically. (Stopbullying.gov)

Our children’s education, mental state, and lives are at stake. Far too many children have suffered with depression, anxiety, anxiety of even attending school or riding the bus. Some have had thoughts of self harm or feel the need to alter themselves to avoid being bullied. 

Now is the time to stand for a change in how schools handle bullying. Time for schools to quit protecting the bully and quit victim blaming the victims. It is time for eyes to be opened, our children are the future. There needs to be a change today!
