Buc ee's owns the land where O'Connor's Irish Pub used to be, and is planning on building the largest one yet in it's location. 

While many of us that have been to a Buc ee's, love the idea of having one closer to us, Exit 1 is just not that location. 

As it is now, Exit 1 has many accidents just coming off of, or getting onto I-24. The bridge creates a lot of blind spots. The roads are small, and there are not long enough designated turn lanes. With all the new neighborhoods that have been built, it's already overly congested, with traffic backing up Tylertown Rd, which is a small two lane road in itself.  With an entrance and exit planned off of Tylertown from Buc-ee's, can you imagine the traffic? I can, and it's not looking great. 

I feel that Buc-ee's will be more of a public nuisance for our quiet neighborhoods. First, with all the demolition, and then construction. Then ongoing with all the visitors. I am all for a Buc-ee's, but not at the expense of our health, well-being, and safety. Gary the Guardrail would probably get the axe as well. We can't do that to him.
