UPDATE BELOW

As most of you probably know, we had to create a new petition because, as it turns out, e-petitions are not accepted in the House of Commons unless they are published on the government website, and for that to happen, there are several hoops to go through. It has been quite a challenge but thanks to the help of two wonderful people (I have thanked below), it's done!

Our new petition is finally published on the House of Commons petition website, and is now open for signatures! 

It's open until Oct 28th, (but please don't wait that long - the sooner the better because who knows when the bill will be voted on!)

UPDATE: As of July 8, we are up to 1027 signatures! But the more we have the stronger our case. So if you haven't yet signed, please do so via the link below.

A huge thanks to Suzanne Biggs for all the work she did to make this happen, Matthew Jones' helpful input and suggestions (both complete strangers volunteering to help!), the five signatories we needed, and to all of you for your patience as we learned how to navigate through all the governmental red tape. It's been quite the learning experience!

Let's do this people! We can't allow this bill to pass!
