There are several ways we can keep our 'Elbows Up' for our country and signing this petition is one of them. So thank you to all those who have done so!

Other ways are by writing and calling our government leaders to keep them accountable, participating in peaceful demonstrations, challenging disinformation and bullying we find online, sharing posts and videos that show what mainstream media are afraid to, boycotting American products, refusing to vacation in the US (something which is too risky to do now, anyway), and joining with other Canadians who are involved in finding ways to help safeguard our democracy, our sovereignty, and our civil rights. 

Over the last few days, I have written to my Mark Carney, my MP, and a few others whom I thought would want to know about this bill, and who have some leverage to ensure this bill doesn't pass. I am hoping my messages are getting through. I plan to follow up with phone calls if I don't hear back. "The squeaky wheel always gets..." well... you know how it goes. Persistence is the key to success!
