While sunroofs may have been created with good intentions, like many ideas a good intention may lead to a terrible outcome. Sunroofs are fun are a fun and exciting feature on a vehicle, but they are an insidious issue and many are not hit with the harsh reality until they are knee deep in problems (sometimes literally) wondering how they got there.

In 2024 the Sunroof Industry had a worth of $13.6B yes that's a big B! As many know the greatest profit margins reside in luxury goods as the cost to profit is almost always much greater in this market. That is all it is though, marketing! These greedy corporations sell you on status and excitement and leave you in the dust with the long-term costs and headaches of keeping that glass roof in working order. Your vehicle is surrounded by glass letting the sunlight and all other light in, why would you sacrifice Efficiency, Chassis Rigidity, and Mental Peace for an extra panel of glass??

This is why we are starting this petition to keep our solid roof values intact, just like the rigidity of our cars' chassis. Big Leak CANNOT keep getting away with this!
