Dear Supporters,
Berwick Springs is leading the charge for all Victorians against an undemocratic process and lack of community consultation. The Victorian State Government’s unilateral decision to rename Berwick Springs Lake created a worrying precedent for 6,000 places across the State.
We invite you to join us at our upcoming Community Meeting, where we will update the community on various matters and share shocking details uncovered through our Freedom of Information (FOI) requests regarding the Berwick Springs Lake renaming. This meeting will be a pivotal moment in our campaign.
📅 Sunday, 23 March
⏰ 4:30 PM
📍 Berwick Springs Lake (between the playground and Louise Baille Av.)
We are pleased to advise Ann-Marie Hermans MP has confirmed her attendance at the meeting. We can also confirm Casey councillors Shane Taylor, Michelle Crowther, and Lynette Pereira will attend the event.
This is a proudly multicultural, multifaith event, represents our diverse, inclusive and united community. All community members are welcome.
Visit the Berwick Springs Community Association's website to learn more why the decision to rename Berwick Springs Lake must be reversed by the State Government.
Thank you for your continued support.
We hope you can join us!
