To the Community,
We want to assure you that we remain actively engaged in advocating for your concerns regarding the proposed BC Housing development on Kelly Ave. Unfortunately, we have yet to receive an official response from those involved. We were advised that a response is still being prepared. We will share updates as soon as they are available.
As part of this process, multiple requests for clarification have been submitted to the City.The City has been unable to provide information beyond their "anecdotal experiences" with New View Society. We believe anecdotal accounts are not sufficient to address the broader concerns raised by the community. Residents deserve transparent and verifiable information about New View Society.
Your concerns were also submitted to the New View Board of Directors. The board advised "While we are not in a position to engage in ongoing correspondence at this time, your feedback has been noted and will form part of the broader discussion."
We remain concerned about the ongoing delays and the lack of transparency surrounding this process. These are critical matters for our community, and we will continue to press for clear, timely, and thorough communication from all involved parties.
