Thanks so much for your vested interest in the potential horse racing situation brewing here in Leominster and sticking with us!  Your support is greatly appreciated.

Tomorrow night, 3/24, the petition to prohibit horse and dog racing and all related wagering and betting from the City of Leominster, will be read to the City Council.  After that it will be given to the planning board for review.  The planning board will hold a public hearing and they will come up with a recommendation for the city council.  Once the City Council has that from the Planning Board they will schedule the final public hearing and will vote on it at that time.

It's critical that we have impressive numbers of supporters show up at the all of these meetings. The Leominster City Council and Planning Board needs to see how many people are genuinely opposed to The Fairgrounds proposal.

For those that want to join the rally before the meeting begins, please arrive by 5:45 pm (signs will be provided).  For those that can only make the meeting, that would be incredibly helpful!  Please arrive by 6:40pm.

Also, anyone who wishes to speak tomorrow night will have 2 minutes to do so.  Having multiple speakers would be highly impactful, so if you have anything you'd like to express then please do so!  It just needs to be relevant to the petition being heard and not the proposal for the Fairgrounds itself.
