Just an update on King County's next moves:
 
Current Conditional Use permit still shows as "Reviews in Process" Tenaska is in the process of submitting a new permit as a "utility" which will enable them to bypass most safety, environmental, visual, noise, and risk requirements...
King County Council has proposed amending the law and including a section about BESS- mainly focusing on having a adequate level of insurance for a catastrophic event... They are supposedly having a meeting August 22nd at 9:30am- but, it has NOT been posted yet... And, every other meeting has been Cancelled in August???? (SEE PIC)
 
We need to keep an eye out for when the meeting is scheduled, and then we need to make a major push to get as many people to write in, join via ZOOM, and/or call in to make comments.
