Got an email from Tracy telling me that she is the sole person responsible for this project and that King County Executives and King County Council don't have any role in the review process of this type of project- basically telling me to stop emailing the King County executives, King County Council, and other King County permitting staff...
The same staff that said this BESS is just like a battery back-up for a cell phone tower/computer...
 
Tracy responded to me via the email from the engineer that was looking at engineering aspects in the application that I emailed.... That engineer asked how they should respond... Tracy basically told the public servant not to reply and that she would reply...
 
The whole Permitting Office has no idea about BESS- as to what this is- and what damages it can cause and what to look out for and be aware of- and even admitted that they had never done a permit review for a BESS...
 
We need to inform them and everyone that should know about the dangers of BESSes, that the sales pitches from developers are only half-truths... The developers omit a ton of data during their sales pitch- basically only pitching the green/environmental/beneficial aspects and completely neglecting to mention anything negative....
