Hi everyone - 

I have finally gotten around to updating the petition itself, to make it as current as possible. Last Tuesday, there was meeting of the Parks and Cultural Affairs Committee of the CB12, and someone sent me a video of the discussion, in which it came that the infill to be used for this horrible project will be made of silica sand. This is one of the worst options,  which I discuss in the updated petition. I now have links to Mount Sinai's information about turfs as a whole, to a page about problems with silica sand infills, by a company that produces it, and to the American Lung Association's page about the extreme risks of silica dust, which silica based turf infills can create. 

I will send more updates on actions to take in the coming days, but I've been wanting to strengthen the petition itself first......
