Stop animal torture and neglect. Stop animal torture for order now!
The Issue
End Animal Abuse in Texas — Governor Abbott Must Act Now
Animals are being tortured in Texas.
They are starved, beaten, burned, chained, neglected, and left to die every day—and far too often, nothing happens to the people responsible. Under current Texas law, animals are still treated like disposable property instead of living beings that feel pain, fear, and suffering.
This is not a loophole.
This is a moral failure.
Animals cannot speak for themselves. They cannot report abuse. They cannot ask for medical help. They suffer in silence while cruelty is ignored, minimized, or repeated.
That silence is on us.
We are calling on Governor Greg Abbott to take real, decisive action by supporting and passing legislation that grants animals enforceable legal rights, including:
Protection from torture, extreme cruelty, physical abuse and severe neglect
Guaranteed access to food, water, shelter, and medical care
Stronger penalties for abusers
Real enforcement—not symbolic laws that fail animals.
Create mandatory statewide online Animal Abuse Registry, designed to track offenders and make it illegal for convicted abusers from owning animals in the future.
Governor Abbott, you also have the power to act immediately.
You can allocate state funding to veterinary clinics to provide life-saving medical care for homeless, neglected, and battered animals who would otherwise suffer or die.
You can allocate funds toward education, teaching younger generations compassion, responsibility, and the consequences of animal abuse—so this cycle of violence finally ends.
This is how change becomes permanent.
This is how a legacy is built.
Animal abuse is not harmless. It is a warning sign. Those who harm animals often escalate to harming people. Ignoring this violence does not make Texas strong—it makes Texas complicit.
This is not about politics.
This is not about party lines.
This is about whether Texas will tolerate cruelty or finally draw a line.
Texas leads the nation in animal cruelty cases as well as leads the nation in repeat offenders of animal cruelty cases.
Governor Abbott, you can be remembered as the strongest governor in Texas history against animal violence—the leader who chose protection over neglect and compassion over indifference.
Pass animal rights legislation.
Fund veterinary care.
Educate our children.
End animal abuse in Texas!
