UPDATE: Jeff & I went to court today 10/19/26 regarding Destiny's case.
Just as we thought her abuser got a slap on the wrist.
He pleaded guilty as a 1st time offender
The judge slapped him with a $1,000 fine which his attorney tried to get reduced, 6 years probation (10/19/29), reduced his community service from 80 hours to 50 hours, and cannot own any animals within those 6 years. If he makes it through the 6 year probation period without getting into any trouble it will drop off his record as if it never happened.
This makes me so angry, just a slap on the wrist!!!
RIP Destiny, you will never be forgotten, we love you baby girl!
