Stop Animal Abuse On Social Media

The Issue

Animals deserve to live in safe conditions and yet all to often we hear animals being abused on social media sites such as YouTube and Facebook. I call upon all Social media sites to not only remove the abusive content but create a policy so that it is known that all animal abuse no matter how small or big will be reported to the proper authorities with the URL or any other identifying information to insure proper punishment of the crime.

We live in a world today to where we are always on line. We see things, we hear things, we can stop things from happening and animal abuse is one of those things. We can no longer accept that animals are being harmed and just think of it as a normal ocurrance, because it is far from normal.

Kicking, hitting, starvation, unhealthy or unsafe living conditions, noticeable dehydration, lack of proper vet care and the list does not stop there - should be reported and criminalized. I call upon YouTube, Facebook and all other social media sites to make a term of service that relates to the ill treatment of animals and to remove the content and report it with all information possible to ensure the safety of all animals on your platform.
