This Monday 12 Oct, founders of 2 prominent Covid vaccine groups in Singapore meet in State Court
Dear Supporters,
For five years, since I wrote the petition "Do Not Let Vaccination Status Divide Us", I have been carrying a burden.
It is the burden of being called someone who took "seditious actions", by people in the very communities that had helped me in my first efforts towards the National Day event, and that helped Healing the Divide come into being. That hurt, and it still does.
I did not rush to court. I considered mediation and other ways to resolve this quietly. They did not come to anything. So on Monday, we will go to court over a message sent to group administrators on 29 August 2021. It referred to my alleged "seditious actions" and told them to "Ensure that IK material is separate from ours."
For five years, many of you have asked me the same questions. What really happened after the first National Day Zoom event? Why did the movement split? Why was Healing the Divide's content afterwards kept out of other vaccine-related Telegram groups? On Monday, both of us will answer questions under oath, before a judge, in public.
I am not going to court to win an argument. I am going there to clear my name, and to let the truth be examined in the open.

The hearing is open to the public, and a larger courtroom has been set aside. If you can come, please arrive by about 9.00 am and bring photo ID; be seated quietly before 9.30 am, with your phone on silent; do not record, photograph or live-stream, and do not bring placards or banners; and please do not approach or speak to the Defendant, her witnesses or her family.
You do not need to say anything. Your presence is enough, and it would mean a great deal to me.
