Dear supporters Thanks for signing & sharing. Last night Amber Rudd , Home Secretary announced her resignation over the Windrush scandal. We have just received the fantastic news that Yvonne Smith thevsecond Grandmother who was booked on the charter flight has been taken off it & has been released from Yarls Wood detention centre after 9 months. Neither of these two daughters of Windrush parents with multiple generations of British family should have been detained for months and booked on the flight. They should be compensated for and receive apologies for the injustices they have faced. However we have not had any confirmation that the flight has been stopped so we need to keep the pressure up as there could be many more impacted.
