Along with many other unsuspecting individuals, I have fallen victim to Air AI LLC and Caleb Maddix's deceptive practices and advertisements on Instagram for a robo-call service under the skin of artificial intelligence. This company's misleading business model has caused financial losses and distress for countless people. Air AI LLC persistently misrepresents its services and products, leading consumers to purchase licenses or invest in their services under false pretenses. Their robocall service is faulty, and the charges are often invalid. They promise a money-back warranty that they fail to honor. Their practice is to promise a money-back warranty to fund their operation.

Over the next 120 days, I attempted to set up an inbound agent, but it was never successful. The agent would provide random information to callers instead of accurate provided responses. Despite numerous support calls, there was no resolution. Additionally, the outbound calls were faulty; for example, the agent would continue talking when a call went to voicemail, failing to recognize it properly.

The faulty product prompted me to request a refund, but they never honored it. As a result, I began researching what I should have done initially. I discovered many others with similar experiences. Additionally, I found that their costs were not as advertised. Based on my account, I calculated that the cost of outbound calls was three times higher than their claim. They lack transparency with real phone numbers and social media presence. Furthermore, one of the three founders, Claeb Maddix, has a questionable past. A former employee even admitted that they fund their operations by promising money-back warranties that they never actually provide.

In recent years, fraudulent practices by robocall companies have surged. According to the Federal Trade Commission, there were over 1.4 million fraud cases in the US in 2020 alone, with total losses reaching nearly $3.3 billion (FTC, 2020). Although not every victim reports their case, each suffers from the emotional and financial impact of these deceitful actions.
