We're been losing our drinking water for fifty years. Humans have done an excellent job of not only creating this problem and accelerating its timeline. Daily, AI uses the equivalent water as 6,500 homes. With advancing technology comes a cost none of us are prepared to pay. Wetland reduction, diminished or evaporated drinking water, climate change, and strained agriculture. All repercussions of continued AI use, and the direct effect of data centres. 

AI is under our nose. Businesses utilize it to write their posts, sell their products. We use it to ask simple questions that could be substituted by critical thinking or a Google inquiry. By 2030, we’re facing a critical water shortage due to the volume of water wasted by data centres. There’s one being put up near Lornesville; the issue is local. It’s here. And we need to put a stop to it.
