Prospect roadshow Saturday 1pm St Helen's Park

Hi all,
The next Stop the Chop Roadshow will be in Prospect this coming Saturday.
Details are STOP THE CHOP ROADSHOW
1-2pm Saturday next, 17 October
ST HELEN'S PARK
39 PROSPECT RD
Above is Victoria Park as a park - alongside Victoria Park as a motor racing track

Festival Plaza:
In the meantime we are waiting on a decision from the Commonwealth Parliamentary Public Works Committee on the ATO's fit out for Festival Plaza Tower 2.

In that vein, we are also communicating with the cross-bench in the Federal Parliament, especially the Teals, in an attempt to get them to vote against any motion for approval of the $73.4m fit-out, if it comes to a vote in the Lower House.

On our behalf Rebekah Sharkie has tabled a list of questions for the Treasurer regarding the ATO proposed move, and Barbara Pocock will be asking questions in Senate Estimates. We will keep you informed.

More Stop the Chop:
You can write to your local MP.  APLA have prepared a form letter for this.
Register here for SNAP RALLIES AND SHORT NOTICE ACTION so you can be informed of opportunities to protect your Park Lands.
And next we will be going to the most marginal seat in South Australia with the Glenelg Stop the Chop Roadshow on October 31

We hope you can make it on Saturday, but please keep up the fight!
