It has now been one week since the petition went live and we have an amazing 1,339 signatures in this really short amount of time. As many of you know, this is not the first petition on this crossing. Previous petitions have secured between 1200 and 1341 signatures...we are almost surpassing this in just our first week. It is so important, as a community, we show how strongly we feel about this issue. We must refuse to be ignored yet again! With this in mind, please can we all do the following three things:

1) Continue to ask as many people as possible to sign this petition!

2) Write to Matt Rodda MP to say this issue can no longer be ignored, he needs to push this issue with Reading Borough Council as our elected representative!

3) Write to Reading Borough Council telling them we can no longer be ignored, this junction is an accident waiting to happen and it's on their watch!
