SAVE MALDON'S COUNTRYSIDE & STOP ANOTHER 350 HOUSES BEING BUILT THAT ARE NOT PART OF THE LOCAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN

Maldon residents and workers will be negatively affected with yet another new build of 275 houses on Spital Road

The proposal is to build 275 houses on agricultural land which is precious green space & working farmland which is needed for the UK & the environment. This will be of no help to locals and will result in more concrete, more traffic congestion, more air pollution, more carbon emissions and the high water table may result in flooding. The additional housing will create an extra strain on the local Doctors Surgery and the local schools. The traffic in the area is already very congested and this development would only add to that.  Allowing this development will affect the local wildlife and nature conservation and destroy the beauty of our much needed recreational space where local people enjoy the public footpath.
