Ferndale Development to force closure of Ferndale businesses

The Issue

  • 141 Vester is a planned development in Ferndale that will remove the majority of public parking in the Northeast corner of Ferndale.  
  • the development not only removes 75 parking spaces, it falls 26 short of spaces for their own residents
  • it will force businesses like Valentine Distilling Co. and Howe's Bayou to CLOSE!
  • it will force customers to park in the surrounding streets 
  • the city wants to give $1.7 million in tax credits to the developer
  • STOP THIS DEVELOPMENT!!   
  • DON'T SPEND TAXPAYER MONEY TO WEALTHY DEVELOPERS!!
